WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS
Coffee producers in Colombia sell their coffee without access to the market intelligence that traders and financial institutions use every day. Prices are driven by weather, futures markets, exchange rates and global sentiment, factors that most producers never see. This information gap leads to predictable income loss and long-term vulnerability for rural families.
HOW THE PLATFORM HELPS
We designed an end-to-end data platform that ingests global data, generates 14-day price forecasts, simulates thousands of risk scenarios and evaluates selling strategies under realistic producer constraints.
The goal is simple: give coffee producers better information when deciding whether to sell today or wait.
